We photograph what actually happened — not what was staged for the camera.

Your Perfect Story is a Chennai studio, started in 2024, out of a simple frustration with how most wedding coverage works: too much posing, too little of the actual day. We wanted a studio that shows up, pays attention, and lets the wedding unfold in front of the camera instead of directing it.

That means candid photography that captures rituals and reactions as they happen, pre-wedding sessions built around comfort rather than a shot list, and films edited for how the day felt rather than how it can be cut to fit a trend. We take on a limited number of weddings each year on purpose — every story gets the time and attention it needs, not a rushed turnaround.

We photograph weddings across Tamil, Telugu and North Indian traditions — in Chennai and Coimbatore, across South India, and wherever the celebration travels — and the approach has been the same since our first wedding: show up early, stay out of the way, and trust that the real moments are worth more than the staged ones.
